NicoNico

Effortless style & wearability

The NicoNico clothes and shoe collections are a reflection of owner Nicole’s taste and her ambition to make discerning women look their very best.

Each season she hand picks every item and tries it on herself before she decides to buy it.

The NicoNico style is best described as feminine with an effortless elegance.  A wardrobe that makes you feel comfortable and confident, today and tomorrow.

She favours smaller exclusive brands from  Scandinavian, Italian and French designers.

The history and the people

NicoNico started out as a children’s shoe store as a small corner shop in the old center of The Hague. The store was founded in 1994 by Nicole van Suylen and her husband Stef. The name of the shop derives from the names of Nicole and Nicolaas, their youngest son.
Nicole is responsible for the collection and runs the store together with Maud and Viviane. Between them they can help and advise you not only in Dutch but also in English, French and German.

Today the main focus is on women’s clothes & shoes but we don’t deny where we come from, the shop still stocks some beautiful collections of children’s shoes and baby clothing. It’s not uncommon for young mothers who got their first shoes more then 20 years ago at NicoNico to buy their children’s  first shoes at NicoNico.

The Frederikstraat

The shop is located in one of the nicest shopping streets in The Hague: the Frederikstraat, an extension of the Denneweg. Together with the Denneweg, the Frederikstraat is one of the most pleasant shopping streets in the centre of The Hague offering many cozy restaurant, fashion-and interior shops.Near the Rijksstraatweg (N44 towards Wassenaar, Leiden and Amsterdam) and the Utrechtsebaan (A4 towards Rotterdam, Utrecht and Amsterdam) you can easily drive there. There is plenty of parking space in and around the street.

The Hague Central Station is nearby and tram 9 stops around the corner.
