The bark print is made by hand in Rabens Saloner’s Bali dye house and is characterised by its wavy stripes inspired by the shadows of a tree. The print is made by placing a hand-held screen on the fabric, where the different colours are added on top of the fabric one by one. Accuracy is key and takes a steady hand from an experienced dye master to accomplish.
